This dish is really good also, I believe it has some kind of tomato in it but I'm not certain. It definitely has bell peppers and star anise seeds in it. It's kind of like a stew because of all the sauce but it's not because it doesn't take that long to cook. Underneath that mess of meat, potatos and bell peppers there are two kinds of noodles a thick one that looks kind of like a ravioli skin but longer and then the other one is like a wide vermicelli noodle. Beautiful dish it's huge! I don't know the price but I know for 4 people eating at this restaurant till we were bursting it was like $12.50 USD. I can't read chinese characters or uighur script so I have no idea what this is called. My friend ordered it.
For the fat noodles its similar to the knife cut noodles that you can get at Heavy Noodling in Monterey Park. But it's not as chewy. And for the vermicelli noodles I haven't seen that before in the states
